Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "National Research Moscow State Construction University". (NIU MSCU) (until 1993 - V.V. Kuibyshev Moscow Engineering and Construction Institute) was founded in 1921.
The mission of NRU MSCU is to create a system of advanced personnel and scientific support of the process of qualitative modernization of investment and construction complex for successful solution of priority state tasks of high-tech and social development of Russia based on the formation of innovative scientific and educational base for training modern builders and architects, creating safe, energy efficient and comfortable living environment, integration principles of branch science, professional education.
