100+ Forum & Expo at World Urban Forum in Abu Dhabi

Yesterday, there was a presentation of the booth of the Russian Federation at World Urban Forum in Abu Dhabi (UAE). Among participants of this ceremony were Deputy Secretary General for the UN and Executive Director of UN-Habitat Maimunah Mohd Sharif, First Deputy Governor for Sverdlovsk Region Alexey Orlov and Deputy CEO of AO "DOM.RF" Denis Filippov.

Vera Belous, Secretary General of the Organizing Committee for 100+ Forum & Expo, participates in World Urban Forum as part of Sverdlovsk Region delegation.

In her introductory speech, Head of UN-Habitat mentioned how fast Russian cities are developing, especially Moscow and Ekaterinburg. "I visited the capital of Ural in the fall of last year when World Cities Day was hosted there. I was pleasantly surprised at just how fast the city is developing and becoming increasingly more comfortable to live in."
