Competencies: mathematical modeling, development, research and use of numerical methods and software and algorithmic complex of loads and effects calculations, conditions, strength and stability of the unique structures, buildings and facilities at the stages of design, construction, operation (monitoring) and expertise.
He developed, verified and implemented original models, numerical methods and implementing software systems for temperature, static and dynamic analysis of spatial construction systems of large dimension, taking into account the effects of physical, geometrical, structural and genetic nonlinearity.
A.M. Belostotsky implemented and went trough the state expertise with estimate study of loads and effects, strain-stress state analysis, dynamics, strength and stability of a number of high-rise buildings in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and many other cities, the Central Stadium, the Grand Ice Arena, bobsleigh track and the jumps complex of Olympic Winter games 2014 in Sochi and other unique and critical facilities.
He is author of more than 200 scientific papers. He trained 4 candidates of engineering sciences.
